The newest Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU: vision and hopes before general elections day
Editorial 16 July 2023Spain took over the rotating presidency of the EU Council on 1st of July for the fifth time, and will hold it until 31st of December 2023. The main lines of action outlined, concerning the six months of the Spanish Presidency, follow four identified priorities: reindustrialise the EU and guarantee its open strategic autonomy, progressing in the green transition, fostering social and economic justice, reinforce European unity.
