EU – India’s relations under the shadow of Ukraine conflict
Editorial 9 May 2022Over the past twenty years India and the EU have been working towards the strengthening of their commercial relations, pivoting on shared democratic values and on common geopolitical interests. Despite promising advancements on cooperation between the two countries in recent years, Ukraine’s invasion casts a shadow of doubt over further convergence of intents. Among the factors to be weighted in, is India’s non-condemnation of Russia’s military aggression and its dependency on Russian weapons.
